I am pretty energetic, raised 3 great young men - all at uni now, and am determined to leave the far north as I'm trying to avoid another wet season (this would be my 25th... if I was staying!). My house in the Atherton Tablelands is on the market, and I'm now doing a 2 month house-sit at friends', whose air bnb I'm caring for and servicing in their 2 month holiday absence. When they return early November I'll be driving south and thinking Brisbane Gokd Coast and surrounds is where I'll trying to familiarise myself and plant some roots in a while. I love animals, especially dogs and cats but have looked after birds and had my own chooks. I am also happy when I can get into the garden. I was on a different house sitter site years ago (before I bought my home), and it was a great experience being able to move around and see different places and it's a privilege to care for others' homes.
