More information about this house sitter

I am a recently retired school teacher living in Northern New South Wales.

I have a son and daughter-in-law who live in Northern Tasmania, who are expecting their first child in the beginning months of 2016.

I am hoping to find a house sit opportunity in the Greater Launceston area so that I can spend some quality time with my son and his new family, as well as enjoy the delights of Tasmania.

My availability is flexible in terms of duration of stay (i.e. ideally 10 days or more). I am available to travel to Tasmania to commence the house sit from any date from 5 May 2016 onwards.

As for describing myself, I am a non-smoker and fit and healthy. I regularly play tennis and I generally enjoy the outdoors. I am very good with animals and will greatly enjoy the opportunity to properly care for your pets in your absence. I am also extremely handy and practical, and enjoy tasks such as gardening, home maintenance and domestic chores. For example, I have owned rental investment properties which I have managed and maintained myself.

I worked as a primary school teacher for approximately 40 years and have late this year (2015) retired. I am therefore very much looking forward to making the transition into becoming a "grey nomad".

If necessary, I am happy to supply a National Police Check.
