I've always adored cats, and often lived with them, but don't think it's fair to have them anymore until I own my own place. That's not on the cards just yet, so ... cat sitting!

I've often volunteered at rescue shelters, coming in every week to cuddle felines who normally don't get any attention, because the owners are too busy cleaning, etc. It's a win win for all, and I find it delightful!

I've been pet sitting since March 2019 fulltime, and am really enjoying it. What a wonderful gift to be able to do this!

I love most critters, and find it very healing to spend time with animals, both pets and wild. So I'm happy to look after chooks, fish, or other animals.

Although I'm quite new to this site, I have profiles on another house sitting site, as well a Couch Surfing, and I'm happy to share these to show that I'm relatively sane! I also have nice comments from people who know my love of cats first hand.

How much do I love cats? I grew up with them, have fostered before, volunteered at several rescue shelters, follow several cat blogs online, watch cat videos every day, and even registered the domain youhadmeatmeow dot com for a while!

I'm also clean and quiet, don't drink, smoke or do drugs, don't have wild parties, so I'll treat your place with the respect it deserves.

I'm not sure what else to write here, so please do ask if you have any questions, or some cats who need some TLC :)

Ed was great. He looked after the house and it's contents and it was obvious that the cats and chooks were well loved and taken care of. I'd love Ed to sit for me again some time.

Ed was the perfect pet and house sitter, very attentive to my cat's needs and respectful of my home. He kept me updated daily of how things were going with my cat and my home. Ed looked after my house and cat for 3 weeks whilst I was in Perth. When I returned the house was neat and clean and the cat looked happy .I can recommend Ed as a house sitter.

Ed most definitely loves cats, but also knows that they need time and space to meet new people on their own terms. It was wonderful to go away and know that our pets were going to be cared for and loved. We also appreciated Ed's flexibility at the start and end of our trip as we were running late both times!

Ed is THE most AMAZING CAT LOVING Housesitter. Don't look any further if you want your cats completely loved and looked after. Ed just adores cats, and spent most of his time in our home caring for our moggies Indi and Mono. Ed was an excellent communicator, which gave us complete assurance that the cats and our home were in great hands. It was actually the first time we felt completely at ease knowing that his care and love of our cats was his priority. Ed also watered the garden, and when we returned our house had a serene and cared for vibe. Our cats were so well loved, they actually were happier and more relaxed than when we left. We hope to have Ed always be the one to look after Indi and Mono whenever we go away for a holiday and might just have to book him well in advance!

Ed helped us by looking after our two cats, one that requires daily infusions and or house. From the outset, Ed was a great communicator and immediately have us confidence. Our cats were very well cared for and enjoyed some treats which Ed checked in with us about in advance. The house was also will cared for and the whole sit went smoothly. Thank you Ed, we really appreciate you helping us out. (And the cats lived it too).

Ed did a great job of looking after our cat and fish for 3 weeks. House and garden were well kept. We got updates and photos which was a nice touch over the 3 weeks. We appreciated Ed's help over our holiday.

Many thanks to Ed for loving and caring for our cat and also for looking after our home. It was great to come home, after seven weeks, and find everything as we had left it. Milo, our cat, seems very content. There is always a level of trust involved when someone house sits. We felt comfortable to leave the care of Milo and our home with Ed. Ed was available to chat and meet with us prior to the house sit. His communications were always timely. Throughout the house sit he kept us posted with regards to both Milo and the house, checking with us to ensure that Milo was exposed to the same routine. Many thanks to Ed. Ed - The Cat Whisperer. If you want someone who adores cats, then Ed is for you. He looked after my indoor cats for a month and they were very well cared for and much loved. My cats are a bit shy of strangers, but Ed won them over. I can thoroughly recommend Ed as a house sitter, particularly if you have cats.

We had Ed stay at our accommodation for a few months earlier this year. In that time we found Ed to be polite and easy to get along with. He is a quiet person who keeps to himself a lot. He always paid his rent and upon leaving received his full bond back. He left of his own free will because of excessive bus noise due to the trains being shut down and we were sad to see him go.
