In 2011 we commenced House Sitting and we have been House Sitting continuously from that date. We are out-going retirees with easy going personalities. We have been married for 50 years, we enjoy travel, photography, walking, movies, book reading. Our house-sit and pet minding experiences have been very rewarding, and they are an excellent way of meeting people and gaining an appreciation of local communities and cultures.

We enjoy house sitting because of the joy we get from caring for animals and because of the satisfaction we get from being able to see home-owners come home to be greeted by their healthy happy pets. We also enjoy being able to provide peace of mind for the home-owner by assuring them that their pets are being well cared for and their home is secure while they are away. We have owned and loved a number of our own cats and dogs. In all cases they were either homeless or unwanted by others. We are supporters of the Royal Society for the Prevention and Cruelty of Animals (RSPCA) and Val was a fund raiser for that organisation.

Our knowledge and experience are achieved from over the 150 house sits that we have done. We have successfully completed house sits in England, Scotland, Wales, France, Ireland, Denmark, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and Australia. We endeavour to maintain the routines that your pets are used to and give them the love and affection that you would expect of us. We know the importance of engaging a couple that are honest, reliable, and organised to care for your family pets, home, and belongings. We are non-smokers and we have no criminal record, all our reviews are 5 stars. We are respectful of both people and their belongings, and aware of the importance of privacy and discretion, particularly how this pertains to looking after a person's home.
