Hi,
We would be delighted to house sit for you and to look after your pets while you are away. We are a married couple, Chris and Nadia, in our late 50’s. In 2019 we started a national tour travelling around Australia, doing what we love to do; travelling around this beautiful country, meeting new people and their beloved pets, while creating children’s picture books! Then COVID arrived and all changed! We came back to QLD and started renovating a house on the Sunshine Coast. We are now ready to have some time off for time to time and your situation could be perfect for us. We both enjoy peace and quiet, relaxing from home, wherever home is! We are experienced with both small and large dog breeds. We lost our 2 best rescue friends recently and we are missing them very much, the last 2 bottom photos shows Molly our gorgeous Groodle she passed when she was only 7 years old and our little Tenterfield Terrier (Sally), lived to 18 years, the last 2 years of her life she became blind and still travelled with us around Australia, we are now "dog less". We also have experience with indoors and outdoors cats. Nadia’s background is in social work, and she has also extensive knowledge of rural and remote parts of Australia. Chris’s background is in engineering. We are a genuine caring couple who can easily adapt to any house-sitting requirements. We have had investment properties ourselves in the past and recognize the importance of having residents that care about the house they are occupying. Through house-sitting we are very competent in looking after people’s properties and really enjoy each new experience. We have extensive experience with the maintenance of swimming pools/spa and ride on mower for larger properties. We are house proud, and we are both animal lovers (cuddles are best) and can take care of any type of pet from the smallest to the biggest (except for elephants!) We can provide our latest house-sitting references. This should provide a good indication of how we treat other people’s properties and what we expect of people staying with us. We are both non- smokers.
