Hi, we are a friendly, approachable, mature, married couple with 2 grown up children who both emigrated from the UK to Australia and are now Australian citizens living in the Atherton Tablelands and the Gold Coast, Queensland. My husband and I are Australian residents also living on the Atherton Tablelands.

My husband, worked for over 40 years as a Police Officer in the UK and is now retired from his role as Detective Chief Inspector and Head of the Public Protection department.

I also previously worked as a Police Officer and in my last position I worked in a safeguarding role for the National Health Service.

We love dogs and animals and often look after our son's 3 large dogs. We also looked after our daughter's 2 Shih Tzu’s. Since being in Australia we have been involved in a housesit looking after a cat and chickens, also a four-month long housesit which included looking after an Airbnb property.
Additionally, we frequently house-sat in the UK for friends with dogs and other animals, one family having 6 large dogs, 2 sheep, a pony, 2 rabbits and 2 tortoise.

We recognise that pets are not just pets but important members of the family and as such we treat them with love and respect.
We are honest, trustworthy, reliable and very respectful of other people's properties and would welcome the opportunity to care for your home and pets.
