We are professionals in our thirties. We have been house sitting since 2011 and recently completed our 22nd house sitting! We are grateful for all the hosts who gave us these wonderful opportunities. Our journies never ends, we keep searching for our next home away home :)

Cristian is an IT Engineer and he is a big fan of soccer. He wants to be a soccer coach one day. He loves to walk with dogs and play with cats. He enjoys reading and meditation and of course, watching soccer games.
Jo works from home and she loves to watch movies and go for a walk on sunny days. She enjoys cooking and reading.

We are experienced with many breeds and sizes of dogs including Red coon hound, Labrador, Maltese, Labradoodle, Berniedoodle, Syberian husky, English mastiff, German shepherd, Whippet, Chihuahua, Irish setter, Australian cattle dog, Alaska malamute, Chinese crested..etc
Also, puppies to senior dogs, rescue dogs with anxiety as well.

We are of course cat lovers as well. We looked after Siamese, Maine coon, Bengal and many other rescued cats. We are familiar with cat territory war(!), nervous cats, playful cats, indoor-only cats, (almost) outdoor cats and also kittens to senior cats.

We also looked after pets who needed oral medication, ear medicine, joint pills or etc. Some furry friends we looked after had upset tummies, some had pancreatitis and some had cancer(which all happened prior to our visits). These experiences got us ready for those who are ill or need special care. They will be in our caring- hands.

Also, we'd water plants, veggie gardens, collecting mails and secure your home. Many of the hosts were happy with the plants we looked after and the cleanness of the house after our stay. We have many satisfied hosts who wanted us back and for some hosts, we were able to come back for their next house sitting needs. We love this part the most as it's so nice to catch up with the furbabies and host again.

Rating: 5.0 THEIR REVIEW OF YOU: Jo and Cristian were absolutely stellar house sitters. They asked detailed questions about the house and our little cat before they arrived. They also sent very helpful periodic updates on things while we were away, including pictures of our cat so we could see she was doing great. They left the house in excellent condition and texted us pictures to confirm they had locked up the way we asked them to. And on top of this they even baked us and the kids chocolate cake!!! Jo and Cristian exceeded our expectations. I would recommend them to anyone!

Rating: 5.0 THEIR REVIEW OF YOU: Jo and Cristian house sat and looked after our rabbit for us for two weeks. What a pleasure it was to travel and feel like everything and everybody was well taken care of. Their communication during the house sit was fantastic - regular and comprehensive. They looked after the house well and left it in spotless condition. Our bun was relaxed and happy when we returned. Jo really went above and beyond, including leaving us a little something to eat when we arrived home. I would have these two sit for us again anytime and highly recommend them as considerate, calm and communicative housesitters :)

Cristian was great, we felt very secure knowing that they would take good care of our elderly dog , we received constant updates and were happy they were in our home which was left in perfect order along with some fresh chocolate cake.

Jo and Cristian sat our house for three months, mid-May to mid-August 2019. They were terrific. We have a big house, three acres of grass to mow, and a pool to look after. Plus, June was the worst insect month in a generation. But they didn't miss a beat. We returned home and the house and yard were in excellent shape. Jo and Cristian were easy to keep in contact with. We recommend them highly and would engage them again with no hesitation.

My two dogs received the care and attention they needed, and my apartment was very well kept! In fact, it seemed cleaner when we returned, than the day we left for our trip. Jo and Cristian are very friendly, trustworthy and dependable. You will not be disappointed!

I feel very lucky to have had Jo and Cristian looking after Mochi. It was a wonderful first experience with Trusted House Sitters - great communication, happy cat, and the place was left in better condition than i left it in. 100% recommend this lovely couple for your sit!

Jo and Cristian have sat for me more than a few times now, and every time has been excellent. They continue to stay in touch with me on a regular basis and they have been great with setting up arrival and departure times that work with my schedule. I feel incredibly comfortable utilizing them, and they are always welcome in my home. The dogs are so happy when I arrive home from my time away when they have been with them. They send me pics and videos and notes that help me feel confident that all is well while I'm gone. If you haven't used them yet, I highly recommend that you do! PS. Jo is an awesome baker - she's left me wonderful breads every time and they've been so delicious!

Jo and Cristian are terrific sitters. They've taken care of my two cats twice. Both times, they sent me lots of pictures and full updates every few days, which I appreciated, and left the house spotless. They even left me with fresh-baked cake when I got home. They watered my plants and were very communicative. My cats were happy when I got home and had clearly been well-cared for.

Jo and Cristian stayed at my house in Toronto for a weekend (Saturday to Monday) and were excellent about sending pictures - and video! - of the two cats. I truly appreciate getting the daily updates, and felt completely secure knowing the cats were in good hands. I came home 40 minutes earlier than expected, so got a chance to meet them - they're lovely! Place was clean and they already had the laundry done. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Jo and Cristian as house sitters. They did a wonderful job not only taking care of our home, but also the high-maintenance needs of our kitty while we were away. They went above and beyond in every way, from sending us pictures and text updates, to baking us the most delicious chocolate cake as a welcome home treat. Absolutely wonderful people. I've had Jo and Cristian sit for me twice now, and both experiences have been 5 star all around. They respond to messages to set up the sit in a timely manner, and they even came all the way out to my home to meet with me and the dogs prior to the sit. They are both lovely people who are very diligent with my home and my dogs. They shared pictures and videos of their time with dogs while I was gone which gave me peace of mind. And they always responded to my messages quickly. When I came home tonight after being away and being sick, it was so nice to come in to a spotless house, with my dogs happy and healthy, and on top of that they left me a beautiful banana bread (which I needed because I had no time to shop before I start my day tomorrow)! Thanks so much for your wonderful care Jo and Cristian, I'm looking forward to having you sit again next month!

Jo and Cristian cared for our two cats for a period of about 2 weeks. We really enjoyed meeting them and felt comfortable leaving our boys in their care. We came home to find happy cats, and for the first time my outdoor planters were thriving. They sent us texts every few days to let us know all was fine and if they had any questions. This was our first experience with TrustedHousesitters and with Jo and Cristian it was a very positive experience. We would be very happy to have them back anytime.

We were so lucky to connect with Fran and Jo for our three weeks away from our pets and home. They both appreciated the beauty and serenity of our village life and Ciara benefitted from their many walks around the village and her frequent play times in the lake. Cristian and Jo stayed with us for a few days after our return. They were very easy to incorporate into our daily life. Cristian and Jo sincerely bonded with our three pets; we know this because although our two cats and our setter welcomed us home, they continued to go to Fran and Jay for play time and walks! We would certainly welcome Fran and Jay back into our home and into our family if the opportunity arises.

Cristian an Jo are an enthusiastic and friendly young couple who really love dogs and who are very thoughtful also about the needs of an owner. While I was away they sent me photos of my dog in various outdoor environments, for example, the local dog park. They sent me an email asking if it was okay to use the bike in the garage, not taking for granted that they could. (I said YES.) They cleaned the house thoroughly before I came home and, since they knew I would get home only at 4 in the morning, they left a note by the front door saying that I should sleep in - they would take my dog for her morning walk. They also left me a little dish of Chilean food to try!

Cristian and Jo looked after our
Chihuahua and whippet which are high need furry children and did an amazing job!!! We were so pleased with their care for our pets and strongly recommend them to anyone! I think our pooches were definitely sad to seem them leave. They were reliable, caring, responsible and always kept in touch while we were on our holiday for 2.5 weeks! We wish them safe travels while visiting Canada!

Cristian and Jo did a wonderful job housesitting for us over the holiday break. We have 2 large rambunctious dogs who they managed well. They were always available to contact, and I appreciated the pics of the dogs while we were away. We wound up having a cancelled flight back, and Cristian and Jo took care of the dogs for an extra several days last minute. It took a lot of stress off our hands knowing the dogs were being well cared for, and that they were able to be watched when we couldn't return on time. When we returned, our house was as if we had never left. It was clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Cristian and Jo!


We understand how scary it could be, leaving your lovely one(s) and house to someone who are just from the internet. So when a chance was given to us for a house sitting, we feel really appreciate for the trust. We will be able to look after your pet(s) as our own and keep you updated with lots of pictures. We have clean police certificates and have good references.
