I am a 59-year-old well presented professional with my own business. Four kids who I love dearly, all grown up and doing their own thing. No other commitments. Where my laptop and phone is, I am at work. Most meetings are Zoom, if I have to occasionally be physically present somewhere, the priority of my house sitting assignment takes precedence. I have good people working for me, so my job is more overseeing operations and I am not bound by borders.
I treat people and property with the utmost respect and will treat your home as if it is mine. I prefer the longer stints and am used to maintaining well-appointed surroundings. I am also used to looking after pools and spas, my parents made sure I could swim before I could even walk!
I have a nice car so would prefer if it could be garaged, or car ported, or off street parked. This is not a deal breaker however, let me know the assignment and let’s discuss my suitability in taking care of your home, and any lives within…

I kind of fell into house sitting by accident in 2006 when my housemate / landlord abandoned me for a couple of years in her house at Cranebrook! Well, maybe not quite that dramatic, but she did go to Queensland for an extended time to look after family, in turn leaving her family home in my care. Along with that came a dog, a cat and the proverbial goldfish, all supposed enemies of each other, but we all seemed to get on. Tending lawns, plants, vegie patch, dealing with JW’s and Avon Lady’s, small odd jobs (broken hinges and the like), neighbours, mail and generally keeping the place clean, tidy and lived in.

The next 15 years I spent married as a home owner and all that entailed, then at the demise of that I now find myself back in the house sitting arena again for the last couple of years.

I’ve done stints in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, city and regional areas including Katoomba, Jervis Bay, Sunshine Coast, Hunter Valley and Dorrigo. I am equally as comfortable in a city, suburban or country environment, farms, houses or units, mansions to humpies, very flexible and adaptable taking care of dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, birds, chickens, ducks, plants, pools, lawns, vegie patches and grounds, including a Zen Garden.
