I am a very active lady who LOVES animals but is unable to have one in the complex I live in so I get my 'lovin' by house sitting. I love to garden and clean out pantries and linen cupboards. I always leave the house sparkling, the garden weeded and the most important thing...the pets ALIVE and well loved (spoilt). The photos below show a pussy cat very depressed after I left, my sister and I with our pet chooks back in the 50's (My Dad was a champion poultry breeder as well as a dairy farmer), in bed with Oliver a dear little Russian Blue I looked after recently., a beautiful pussy cat in our street that I try to have a cuddle with each day. Please note, I may be able to help out in an emergency but if it involves lengthy travel, I would appreciate a contribution to my petrol expenses.

We are delighted to be able to recommend Dawn as an extremely reliable and trusted House Sitter. Dawn looked after our large home in Hughes, ACT on many occasions over several years, and at all times we couldn't have wished for more.
Dawn was meticulous in her care of our home, always leaving it spotlessly clean and tidy, usually with the table laid for afternoon tea with a freshly made cake! Our garden was beautifully maintained (the first time Dawn house sat for us, we returned to a garden which had been weeded, tidied and looked fabulous!).
More importantly for us, our dog and two cats were always very pleased to see her and we would return home to three happy, well cared for animals.
We felt that we could fully trust Dawn with our house, leaving no rooms locked and providing her with full access, including to our WIFI. Dawn at no point in time ever gave us cause to doubt her care for, and security of our property.
We obtained Dawn via a House Sitting website and we were extremely happy with her from the first time. Thanks to Dawn, we were able to travel overseas and interstate regularly in the knowledge that our home and pets were in good care. We were very sad when moving overseas that we couldn't take her services with us!
We would have no hesitation in recommending Dawn as a trusted House Sitter.

Hi Dawn,

Thanks for the cake and little treats. House looks beautiful amd we saw your hard work around the vegie garden. We are home safe and sound but exhausted from disembarkation, airports etc.

OMG, OMG!! I cant believe what I came home to!! I cant thank you enough. I certainly didn't expect you to do housework and cleaning and organizing and gardening and washing and everything. Thank you, thank you. You have worked like a slave.
As you can probably tell, we lead a very hectic life style. I work full time with a lot of over time and also run the farm here. Peter had an accident 4 years ago has a permanent impairment leaving him unable to use his right hand shoulder, arm and hand so he is limited in what he can do around the place. This is our first holiday in 13 years and things didn't work out as well as we had hoped. 2 cyclones, sea sickness, mediocre quality food on the cruise - we were glad to get home. And when I got home to a sparkling clean house, I then felt really pampered. Thank you again Dawn.
There were very excited Pugs when we got home! It was so good to see them. They haven't left our sides. thank you for taking such good care of them. I apologize for anything naughty that they did - we really do spoil them, I know.
Can you give me your bank account details so I can transfer money to re-emburse you for the cleaning products. Also, as this is the first time we have used Mindahome, how can I leave a reference on the web site?
