Hi there,
I am a mature, honest, caring person who genuinely loves looking after pets, homes and gardens!

I was a homeowner in the Blue Mountains and Sydney before coming to Brisbane 15 years ago, so I appreciate what genuinely makes a ‘home’ - for both people and pets!

I really miss being a home and pet owner, so with house-sitting I have the joy of both. It also means meeting many wonderful animals and enjoying different locations to live in. I've found it to be such an enriching experience that it gave me the desire and impetus to offer a full-time service.

The majority of my time is spent at home which means your pets get plenty of love and affection.


I have many excellent references, my own car, and am a non-smoker. My animal friends have included dogs (large and small), cats, fish, horses, chickens, guinea pigs - and guinea fowl!

My friends would describe me as a "people-person" with a giving, caring nature, a perpetually positive outlook and an irrepressible sense of humour.

Having been a fulltime professional sitter for the last 11 years, before coming over to Mad Paws this month (January 2023), I've amassed many verifiable references and reviews. Here is a sampling for you -

From the start Sue was a great communicator and provided us a detailed fact find sheet so we could provide her with all necessary details about the dogs and the house. We did a Facetime meeting with her and immediately felt comfortable. We met with Sue the day we left and she seemed wonderful. The dogs really took to her. Sue kept great confirmation with daily doggie pics to let us know our fluffballs were happy. The house was clean and well looked after. Would definitely love to have Sue stay again."
