We are married with 1 child, Oscar (born in June 2014). We run our own building & carpentry business which keeps us very busy. I (Kylee) work from home or our factory 1 day per week, volunteer at Geelong Mums 1 day per week and the rest of the time I am a stay at home mum. Dan works full time onsite at our projects throughout Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.
Initially the idea to become house sitters was a result of us investigating living options as we are currently renovating our home...rent in our area is expensive and we just couldn't factor this into our budget. We are looking for long stays from March 2017 onwards. Ideally it would be a 3-4 month stay but willing to accept shorter stays if these offers come up.
The idea of house sitting had never crossed my mind previously but now we have looked into it more, we feel it would also be a great opportunity to get out and see Australia so we will look to continue house sitting in the future.
Dan, Oscar and I lead a pretty low key lifestyle. We visit the beach, head out for walks and love spending time with our family and friends. Oscar also enjoys a bubbachino once in a while.
We love all animals (especially Oscar) but unfortunately Dan is allergic to cats so wouldn't be able to help those with the feline fur babies.
We love the outdoors so having to manage gardens and lawns would not be an issue. Read more...
