More information about this house sitterMy name is Dan, I'm a freelance graphic designer. I had been living down the coast for 6 months, but now spending more time back in Melbourne. I'm planning to head overseas later this year, so looking for some house sits until I depart.
Over the last few years I've done a few house sits for friends, most of those with pets. I'm an animal lover, a very tidy house guest and always treat another persons home with great respect. As I'm a freelancer I mostly work from home, which is ideal for pets.
If you want to know more, let's chat further : )
I have only just joined this site so don't have any recommendations here yet, but below are a couple from previous house sitting experiences and another site. I am happy to provide contact details and I also have a police check I can provide as well.
Sam / Truganina
Dan was a fabulous house sitter! We had great communication in the lead up and throughout. Our house was immaculate when we returned and all our animals were happy! They even seemed disappointed it was us and not Dan returning haha I would not hesitate to recommend Dan to anyone looking for someone to look after their home & animals.
Jono and Jewels / Apollo Bay
Daniel looked after our place outside of Apollo Bay for 6 weeks in 2013 while we were away overseas. He looked after two dogs, Bailey and Addy and bonded with them both. Addy was the older dog that was protective of the property. But over the time Daniel bonded with Addy enough to comfort her through storms. He was a great house sitter who looked after the place and kept it nice and tidy. We would happily let him sit our house again.

I am pleased to recommend Daniel for the role of house sitting. Dan has been my housemate, my guest and a house sitter for me on different occasions. Dan is respectful of others, easy going, and is a very clean and tidy individual. He is reliable, and will treat your house with love and importantly not kill your plants!
