Hi - my name's Daniel!

Professional, Mature, and Experienced house-sitter. Devoted animal lover. And yes… a West End/Broadway Theatre Producer who genuinely LOVES caring for pets and homes.

I’ve been house-sitting regularly over the past few years, and can boast excellent reviews and a brilliant track record with MULTIPLE repeat bookings and a reputation for being reliable, calm, and deeply caring. I typically take on stays of 1+ weeks, but if I’m available, I’m always happy to help where I can.

I’ve just had a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check completed (20th April 2026), which I’m very happy to share with you.

After 20 years living and producing theatre in London and touring internationally, I’ve recently returned to Australia to be closer to family. While my professional world revolves around plays, musicals, and storytelling, my personal joy comes from the simple things… like a wagging tail or a purring cat curled up nearby.

Because I work freelance, I’m home most of the time — which means your pets get consistent companionship, attention, and care. Not just a quick visit… but real presence.

Where am I available?

• Mainly Brisbane / Gold Coast / Sunshine Coast
• Also open to travelling interstate (for longer stays 2–3+ weeks) esp love Sydney & Melbourne

A little extra reassurance? My sister is a professional Golden Retriever breeder, so I have access to expert advice and support whenever needed.

ABOUT MY PET CARE APPROACH:

With years now of regular pet and house sitting experience, I’ve cared for fur babies of all varieties, breeds, ages, shapes & sizes!

I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all types - often multiple pets simultaneously, in homes with mixes of cats/dogs/birds, etc!

Also, a variety of birds, including chickens, lovebirds, parrots, lorikeets, and cockatiels. Most recently, I even looked after 2 COWS, which was a most memorable experience!

I grew up surrounded by pets, both cats and dogs, and have always felt completely at ease around animals. I’m 100% confident, attentive, and super comfortable adapting to each animal’s individual needs, routines and personality.

I really enjoy building trust with each pet & making sure they feel safe, relaxed, & well cared for while their owners are away!

Daniel was awesome looking after our unit and our girl, Hazel (kelpie). We were very happy with the experience, and his constant updates and photos were greatly appreciated.

His communication was excellent and Hazel seemed to have struck up a great rapport with him. The house was tidy, he washed the sheets and handled a surprise visit from our son with grace. It was great to go away and know that Hazel was managed well and everything was in good order.
