More information about this house sitter

I am a mother of two girls in their 20's..My youngest daughter and I are currently travelling around Australia in my recently purchased motorhome. We relocated to Bendigo Victoria in 2017, after selling my home in Gisborne and haven't looked back. I love where we live, but decided it was time to do the big lap. Being able to do it with my daughter makes it extra special. We had a very spoilt 17 year old tortoiseshell cat named Ruby who we sadly lost last year. She was my constant companion and shadow and her loss was immense. I will definitely be getting another cat once our travels are over, but for now I am happy to settle for caring for and sharing the love of other peoples fur babies. I love gardening, reading, walking, enjoying nature, challenging myself and don't like starting something I cannot finish. I have a tendency to put my hand up for anything and have trouble saying no, but that has mostly been a positive in my life. I've been on many committees related to charities, fund raising for schools, sporting clubs, etc. I have often cared for peoples homes, children and animals whilst they are away. Mainly for people I know, however on many occasions, I have cared for homes and animals of strangers. Until recently I held a working with childrens check as I was very involved with the girls schools carrying out volunteer work. I have done volunteer work for the Salvation Army for the past 3½ years, which i will return to when we finish this trip. I am happy to care for any pets and gardens. Having grown up on a farm, I've had many pets, including dogs of various breeds, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, horses, cows etc. I've also had several pet rabbits over the years.
