Hej... (As we say in Denmark :))

I'll tell you a bit out our story, so you can get to know us before considering us for the task of minding your beloved house and pets.

Our travel story started, on a cold smoggy winter night in Beijing/China, where we lived from 2014 to 2017.

After 13 years in China, Charlotte (mom) and I (dad), felt that it was time to get closer to our families in Denmark.
We knew that time was short (yes years but you know how they fly) before Asta (8) and Laura (10) got too old to learn the true Danish culture and strengthen their bonds to our family.

Charlotte and I had despite living out our China dream, always wanted to backpack together around the world, but one opportunity always took on the next, and here we found our selves 25 years later, still thinking about how we could make that big dream come through.

It was clear, that once we where settled in Denmark, with a house, a car and our beloved dog, Mille, it would be much harder to realise the dream, so a gab between China and Denmark was the perfect time.

Charlotte, was (and is still) working online as a recruitment consultant and finding talent for Non-For-Profit organisations, so that could provide us with income to fund the travels.

Asta and Laura, was educated on some of the finest international schools in the world, so we felt they where ahead and felt OK with pulling them out of a year, do home schooling on the road and work mainly on their danish language which was obviously was the biggest gap to be addressed before thriving in a Danish school.

It all seemed to line up for us. The perfect opportunity with perfect timing. A dream come through... and the cold and smog of Beijing made it much easier to make the decision!

Since July 2017, we have been on the road, with our backpacks. And...... we are not short of memories! :)
We have driven 6000 km, through the corners of China. Lived in a jungle on a deserted islands in Cambodia. Sailed the Meikong Delta and made friends for a lifetime in Vietnam. Scuba dived with Manta rays in Thailand. Visited friends in Singapore. Worked on a wine yard in Melbourne and explored the south east coast of Australia in a motorhome, and much much more.
If you have the time to sit down with us for a night and hear our stories, you will NOT be bored!

But, now we feel its time to feel home somewhere away from a home, that is still not our home (confused? we are some times :) ), and the girls miss MIlle (our dog) so taking care of your home and pet(s) is just what we need, before heading of to a new adventure in New Zealand on 11th April.

Here is what we can promise you.
1. We will take care of your home like it was our own, and Danes have high expectations of their own homes.
2. We and our girls, and especially Asta, will give your pet, all the love that they need while you are away.
3. We will be just a video call away, so if you feel you need to see that everything is ok... Just call!
