More information about this house sitter

Hi, my name is Chris and I’m an environmental scientist/consultant currently living in Darwin. I currently have accommodation with my work but am looking for a place to house sit over the Christmas break so that I can experience new parts of Darwin and have a change of scenery.
I'm from Adelaide originally, but my own home is in Hobart, Tasmania and I have moved up to the NT last year for work opportunities and a new challenge. My wife is still living in Hobart but plans to move up to Darwin hopefully soon when I have settled in and found a place to live. Despite being male I am clean and tidy and know how to look after a house both inside and out. I love animals and have two cats at home, and have grown up with an assortment of animals including cats, dogs, birds, fish and rabbits. So I know the time and effort required to look after pets. I love gardening and miss my own garden at home, so would be more than happy to look after yours for a while.
I have house sit for other people before so can provide referees from these places if needed. Prior to moving to the NT I have lived in my own house in Hobart. I am a reliable, honest and friendly person; I’m a non-smoker and like peace and quiet, so will get on well with your neighbours who will barely know I’m there.
