Dave and I normally reside in Phuket, Thailand. We were there for seven years involved in volunteer work, but after coming to Australia to visit the family in February 2020 we got stuck when the borders shut down. We are residing in Sydney but from January we would prefer to be flexible with our living arrangements and feel that house sitting would be a good option for us. We love animals and have two cats of our own in Thailand (Sawyer and Scamble). We understand the stress involved with finding good carers for them - this was by far the biggest stress for us when we realised we were stuck here and needed to arrange long-term care for our much-loved cats! Fortunately we have friends house-sitting for us until we are able to return.

We also did bouts of pet-sitting for friends in Thailand, so we are comfortable to look after whatever furry (or feathered or scaly) friends you have. We are happy to take them for walks and keep them entertained.

Dave and I run a small medicolegal transcription business which is entirely remote so we are at home a lot and can give your animals the attention they need. As long as we have our laptops we can work anywhere.

We have a small garden in Thailand with banana trees, lime trees, passionfruit vines and other things and are happy to do whatever garden/yard care is needed. We also understand that your home is precious to you and we would do our utmost to keep it spick and span while you were gone.

At this point we feel it is unlikely we could return to Thailand before mid-2021 so we are available until then if you need our services.
