David and Sally

Sally and David are both retirees (former teacher and former NSW public servant). We moved from NSW to Queensland in 2014.

We now live on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. Prior to buying a house, we house sat 7 separate houses in the region. These all had various animals (birds, cats, dogs) which we enjoyed looking after including some dog walking when suggested by the house owner. We have also house sat in Brisbane a number of times since 2014 (dogs, cats and birds).

We are now wanting to travel in Australia and also get to experience new areas.

The home we had in NSW was on 2.5 acres with lawns, gardens, fruit trees and a pool. Thus we are experienced at caring for and maintaining gardens, with a good working knowledge of pumps, irrigation systems and water tanks. We are happy to undertake all necessary garden and household tasks required.

We are animal lovers having had many pets of our own over the past years, including dogs, cats, horses, fish, rabbits, birds, chickens and ducks. Sally has also raised three guide dog puppies, has taught at dog obedience classes and has bred many Burmese cats. We can manage pet's medications and veterinary visits if required. Both Sally and I are keen walkers and enjoy walking and exercising dogs.

Sally and I are well known in our local community and can provide contact details for our referees who will vouch for our honesty, integrity, loyalty and reliability. Clear police checks can also be provided on request. We are quiet, non-smokers who would look after your home, garden and pets as we would our own.

Whilst we are house sitting away from the Sunshine Coast, we have children living locally who will look after our present house (gardens, pool and cats).

If required, we can travel to meet home owners prior to a house sitter making a decision.
