More information about this house sitter

Hello!

My name is Gülseren! Unusual right? That’s because Gül is Rose in Turkish ( which is VERY common) and Seren (less common) means to spread, so my name loosely translates to Rose Giver or Roses_Everywhere which happens to be my Insta handle if you’d like to get to know me more, or you can visit my dog and baby sitting profile called Happy Gül Lucky. I’m Aussie but my parents are Cypriot.

Any way, I love all animals especially dogs and cats as they’re easy to cuddle. I used to teach dance to kids in kindergartens before Covid, so I’m a very bubbly and happy person. But now I just have to live life at a slower pace due to my dynamic disability … I really like the idea of being able to enjoy a quiet space with the affection of a furr baby, so house sitting suits me well! I also find many people like that I don’t work because it means that I’ll be home with your pet for most of the day - so no need to worry they’ll become lonely in your absence. Actually Beleive it or no most dogs don’t want to go back to thier owners after I dog sit 😂

My partner Jeremy occasionally joins me on my house sitting journey if the house is big or owners find two people being there gives them peace of mind ( but usually it’s just me. And I do a great job, I send frequent photos of pets having fun or feeding, and photos of your pet and I out on walks or having a cuddle or a play.

About my Disabilty - I have functional neurological disorder so some days ( hot with no aircon) I struggle to walk, and I used my rollator walker (pictured last) to help me move. It’s a great way to walk little tired dogs because they can sit on the seat wheb they’re tired, and with bigger dogs usually the weight of the dog and it’s pull from the lead around its waist actually steadies my gait haha , so there’s many wonderful and curious ways around my Disabilty, and I am perfectly capable to care for your pets… Though I am new to mindahome I have house sat for many people through both paid and unpaid works. I’ve sat for friends and family, for neighbours, in Queensland, in Tassie, and I’m happy to provide refferences upon request :)

More on Disabilty:
It’s hard for me to find affordable housing so by choosing me to look after your home or pets you’ll be choosing a person who really needs it. And while I can hop over to my mums on the Gold Coast or Jeremies closer to brissy I really do miss my independence, so having the responsibility of minding a home and or house of pets allows me to regain my independence… it allows me to cook for myself, and have a clear mind, look into uni courses and alternative ways to earn money online… whoops! That didn’t mean to rhyme - hahaha/ I’ve been reading a lot can you tell?

Anyway I’ll take good care of your pets and your home, I promise to keep it as clean as I found it and have respect for all of your belongings… your pets will be well fed, played with, and receive many MANY hugs,

We are looking forward to hearing from you! Gul and Jeremy
