We are both easy going, honest, broad minded people in our early 60's who enjoy traveling in our caravan, meeting people of all ages and from all walks of life. Previously having worked in education, we are now retired and are non-smokers. We both love animals and frequently mind our friends pets while they are away and look after their homes/gardens as well. We used to have a golden retriever who visited our local hospital/nursing home daily for 6 years. We are both members of our local Country Fire Authority and both were Ambulance Community Officers for many years so have first aid training. When not travelling we live in a small rural town in Victoria and can provide police checks and references.

Our love of travel has lead us on many adventures both overseas and extensively in Australia. We usually travel for at least 6 months of the year in the northern part of Aus. We are fully self-contained and are able to stay in our van or your home if necessary to keep your pets happy. Recently we helped caretake at a cattle station in Far North Queensland where we pumped water from the river and between tanks, maintained lawns, fed cattle, horses, chooks and dogs also assisting during the muster with cooking, cleaning etc.

Last year we travelled around the Northern Territory and answered a Help Wanted ad. We stayed for 2 weeks with a family on a 27 acre property at Fly Creek. We helped with house and garden work and looking after 2 dogs.

We love an adventure, whether its white water rafting in Bosnia, dog sledding in Alaska or swimming in beautiful gorges in remote parts of Australia. Read more...
