PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT BRING OUR PETS TO YOUR HOME.

We are a working couple and live up on Cape York Peninsula.

Every now and again we need to come down to Cairns to do our shopping and enjoy the more civilised world for a while, so in most cases we look for house sits in Cairns (occasionally we also look in other places like Weipa, Daintree, Port Douglas and Thursday/Horn Island; or other places in Australia for a getaway).

We are dog and cat owners, so we are animal lovers and know how to best look after them. We do not bring our pets to your home, we make other arrangements for them as it's not practical for us to travel with them anyway (unless there is an exceptional case in which we will ask you first).

We are obviously also home based (as opposed to nomadic house sitters) and understand how you feel about your property - which we would look after as if it was our own.

We are used to doing house sits, looking after pets and gardens, and we have REFERENCE LETTERS (with phone numbers that you can ring) from house sits that we have done before.

(Particularly I, Kat, have done more as my work allows me to get away more than Mark the partner. Depending on the situation I sometimes need to do it on my own, and have done many house sits on my own before).
