Cuddles, fetch, and fun galore with a mature-aged, responsible pet sitter!
I am a solo female nurse, reliable and a DOG LOVER! Originally from Germany I have been in Perth for more than 20 years. Although I am transitioning into retirement and work reduced hours, I don’t want a dog on my own at this stage. Therefore, I am getting my doggy-fix by looking after family and friends’ dogs. In the future I would like to travel and pet-sit all around Australia.
For a couple of hours a week, I am taking care of my son’s black labrador, Esther. Beautiful natured Esther is just over one year old and recently passed her assessment as an assistance dog. She is so well behaved, and we are so proud of her!
My best friend was “Lassy”, a rowdy border collie/collie cross, who accompanied me wherever I went for over 15 years. She got her two long walks every day and that certainly kept me fit. Both of us made lots of friends in the dog park and at the beach. Lassy was obsessed playing fetch, so funny!
I also cared for Nala, a petite short-hair border collie with a neurological disorder. She was adorable! Nala was unbale to walk properly and, at the age of four, needed full-time care.
Now I take any opportunity to take my neighbours’ dogs for a walk. The dogs get very excited when they see me, and I can never get enough wet doggy kisses. I like their different personalities and temperaments.
In the past I have done a couple of house sits but I am new to pet sitting. Therefore, a short stay would be ideal for me. I am a non-smoker and able to take time of work to give your doggy my full attention. I will keep you in touch by sending photos and videos. Ideally, I would like to meet you and your bestie beforehand so we can get to know each other, and I can learn about your preferences.
