Hello! I'm Nerida, an energetic nature lover, competitive Dragon Boat paddler (beginner sweep), traffic engineer, adventurer, animal cuddler and single mother of twins.
Based in Canberra, Australia, our family leads an active lifestyle and is passionate about providing exceptional care to animals.
We approach every pet-sitting opportunity with the utmost care and respect for your home and pets, aiming to provide a seamless experience for your peace of mind.
Our extensive experience encompasses caring for a variety of animals, including two cherished cats-one adaptable from a diplomatic mission and another resilient survivor from an animal hoarding situation. We've also provided specialised care for a blind dog, ensuring a safe environment, and managed the daily needs of on aged cat (18 years) and potty lambs. Additionally, our late dog, Bobby, had megaoesophagus (ME), equipping us with skills in specialised feeding techniques and medical management.
We are proficient in managing both urban apartments and rural acreages, adapting seamlessly to various living conditions and pet care requirements.
While we often undertake pet-sitting assignments together, I sometimes travel solo. I will always inform you in advance about who will be present during the sit, ensuring transparency and comfort.
