We're an active couple who live in Sydney. We returned to to Australia last year after several years living overseas. We are both working; Zohdy part-time from home, and Elaine as a teacher with plenty of holidays so we're taking the opportunity to do some exploring and discover new areas.
Our current lifestyle means that owning dog isn't possible and we have a dog-shaped hole in our lives.
As dog lovers, while living in UK we took the opportunity to volunteer as foster carers for The Dogs Trust Charity and welcomed dogs of many sizes, shapes and temperaments into our home and garden. (We developed some tricks to get tablets into dogs and are happy looking after dogs who require medication)
Elaine enjoys pottering in the garden but is more of an enthusiastic amateur than a horticultural expert.
So far we've house/dog sat large, small, old and 'new'. We're happy to look after houses, dogs, gardens, pools. Sorry we can't care for cats or horses (Elaine is allergic to them).
