G'day! I'm a journalist in my 30s, based in Melbourne, and currently working from home producing news content and a podcast. Both a cat AND dog person! I am also very confident around horses (grooming, riding, cleaning stalls), and grew up caring for ducks, chooks, cattle, cockatoos, canaries, tropical/freshwater fish, cats and dogs, even lizards!

Gardens and pot plants are no fuss at all, I've got my own veggies/roses/hedges/lawn.

I'm particularly keen to assist households who have pets with medical needs like diabetes. Very experienced with administering needles. My partner and I have a cat of our own who is diabetic, requiring a strict low-carb diet and insulin shots at the same time twice a day.

I take pride in respecting other people's property and cherish the opportunity to care for your animals while you are away. I'm very responsive to calls/messages if you want to check in on everyone.

While sitting, I'll be working at the house most of the day to look after the pets. All I need is a solid, reliable internet connection with good bandwidth (Zoom etc.)

My work schedule is full-time conducting news interviews/editing audio (9:00-5:30, Mon-Fri), and some weeks I also record and produce a daily news podcast for the papers in the evening (Mon-Sun). Read more...
