My name is Jim. I am a semi-retired widower staying in Australia (Illawarra, NSW region) with my eldest daughter during these covid times.
Was a finance/management professional during my working career. Spent many years working in Pacific Island countries.
A house-proud person, comfortable with household animals; cats and dogs. My parents were farmers in NZ so also familiar with chickens etc.
Although a septuagenarian, fit and healthy. Exercise and walk most days – weather permitting! I have my own vehicle.
I am only interested in short-term house minding – maximum of 7 days. At this stage only in the ACT.
Further details can be explained directly to persons who require their homes minded. I minded a home in for 4 days in Florey back in June this year. Thus my prior experience minding homes through ‘Mindahome’ is very limited (only joined in May 2022) but many years of prior experience in managing a household on my own.
