We joined Mindahome about 12 years ago and all our experiences with house sitting have been positive. We have met some wonderful people and pets!

We have references from most house sits done to date, (as well as the usual personal references, Police Checks and Working with Children certificates.) We can also provide phone contact details for our more recent house sits if you would prefer. Generally, we like to do house sits of one month or less.
We are retired country people used to a modest life style, and love travelling with our small caravan. We are non-smokers, social drinkers only and are honest and responsible. We enjoy looking after animals, small acreages and gardens and are always careful to follow all instructions.
At home we are very involved in local organisations including church, Golf Club, CFA , Blazeaid etc. I am in a community choir, enjoy craft and my husband is a gardener, chess player and golfing tragic who likes to be outside doing things....we are both fit and active.
We did our first house sit in 2011 for a month in Perth with 2 lovely Huskies. Since then we have averaged one or two housesits per year in most states.
We have done several house sits for friends close to our home in NE Victoria in the last few Covid years. Read more...
