More information about this house sitter

We are a non-smoking, triple vaxxed couple who emigrated to Australia in June 2021. We decided to take time off from full time work during 2022 and 2023 and to use the time to travel around Australia. When we're in Victoria (Melbourne) we work as part-time casual relief teachers in order to earn a bit of money.

We are from Zimbabwe originally where we ran our own business making fair trade food and herbal tea products from wild harvested, indigenous plants. In 2008 we emigrated to Kerikeri in New Zealand where Caroline worked as a Commerce teacher and Dave worked in the retail sector. After five years in NZ we moved to Singapore to take up teaching positions in international schools and then in June 2021 we emigrated to Australia.

We are animal lovers and have grown up with animals around us. Caroline grew up on a farm whilst Dave grew up in a family that had many pets. We are very happy to housesit in remote locations and are not afraid of the great outdoors!

We are both very considerate, flexible, reliable people who are house proud and trustworthy. Your house will be kept very clean and tidy whilst we are there. We have been renters for the past 14 years due to our nomadic lifestyle and have always looked after our rental properties as if they were our own. We own a house in Melbourne that is rented out so we recognise the value of reliable and dependable tenants!

We own two cars (VIC only) so we are flexible around dates - if you are delayed (or need to leave earlier) we are able to split up if our housesit dates overlap by a few days due to unforseen changes. Read more...
