More information about this house sitter

We are retired husband and wife Americans travelling around the world on our 35' sailboat. We recently arrived in Darwin to wait out international Covid travel restrictions and cyclone weather, so we intend to stay in the area until April-May-June 2022. Our boat is moored at Cullen Bay Marina, and we have a car to get around. We welcome opportunities to house sit for others who may want to escape for vacation.

Before leaving the US, we owned our own homes and had pets over the years (cats). As a family with two children, we also volunteered at our local animal shelter for 13 years and were named "Volunteers of the Year" in 1996. We have also house-sat with pets (dogs and cats) for friends in the US and in New Zealand. We have been in Australia since May 2019, and we have volunteered at the Lifeline Store in Bundaberg, QLD, and the Maritime Museum in Townsville, QLD. References are available on request.

We are non-smokers and are used to taking care of pets, gardens, swimming pools and doing minor maintenance. We treat other people's property as our own and will keep your home clean, tidy, and secure. You can learn more about us on our websites, links to which can be forwarded on request.
