ABOUT US

We are a non-smoking couple in our early 40's and we have been looking after peoples homes and pets in Australia since 2017.

WHY WE DO PET/HOUSE SITTING

We absolutely love animals but our lifestyle hasn’t made it possible for us to get pets of our own so pet sitting suits us perfectly, we get the companionship of animals without the long-term commitment. One day when the time is right we will absolutely be getting pets of our own. We also love the variety of staying in different suburbs of Perth, and sometimes other parts of Australia, too.

OUR EXPERIENCE

We have looked after dozens of peoples homes and pets around Australia through this website as well as other house sitting websites. We have looked after cats, fish, chickens and many dog breeds of all sizes. Because we do this for the companionship of the animals we especially love cats and dogs that enjoy attention and cuddles.

Most of our experience was from 2017-2020 then covid shook our life up a little (as it did for everyone) and we moved to Europe for a few years which is why there is a gap in our reviews. Currently our home is officially in Portugal but we still spend a lot of time in Australia and we resumed house sitting as of late 2025.

WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU

We do like to keep active so if you have a dog it will get morning and evening walks. We’ll mostly be home throughout the day so your pets will have plenty of company and will only be alone for short periods of time such as when we are grocery shopping or at the gym.

We are competent with large dogs and giving pets medication if required, too.

Up until 2020 when we moved to Portugal, Curtis owned the number 1 reticulation business in Perth with well over one hundred 5 star reviews on google so if you have a garden you can rest assured that it will be in a safe and professional hands.

Curtis and Patti have recently looked after our 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in Coogee Western Australia.

They cared for our two beagle dogs and our two cats as well.

We found that the animals were extremely well cared for and the house and gardens including the pool were in immaculate condition and cleanliness once we returned.
We found Curtis and Patrycja extremely trustworthy and enjoyed their regular updates on how our animals were going.

Patricia and Curtis looked after my house, garden, dog, cat and fish for three weeks in October 2019.

I was delighted with the relationship that they established immediately with my dog (easy, friendly animal) but particularly with my cat (not an easy, nor particularly friendly animal).

I received photos showing this interaction very early after I had left and found this very re-assuring.

I returned home to a spotless house, clean pool and a well cared for garden.

The animals were very pleased to see me but I suspect almost equally sorry to say goodbye to Curtis and Patricia.

Curtis had also done me a great favour in correcting my reticulation controls to meet my current water entitlement (newly established plants).

I found both Curtis and Patricia to be very friendly people to work with and very thoughtful carers for my home and pets.

I would recommend them unreservedly for any future house-sitting position.
