More information about this house sitter

Hi,
My name is Kylie and I have found house-sitting a very rewarding way to live and experience new places.

I have had years of experience caring for other peoples homes in different shapes and forms, including my own, and so understand it from both angles. I would consider myself an extremely house proud individual, understanding security, and the respect for other peoples spaces.

I am a writer, an artist and study in my own time. I also have had the privilege of currently also working in Southern Tasmania in tourism and hospitality; sharing in this little piece of paradise. I feel in love with Hobart and the Southern Region when I first made the change late last year. Having moved around Tasmania and also lived in NSW, housesitting was something that I had not looked into until this year, and so decided I wanted to follow this on a professional level. Currently I have a particular interest in the Huon Valley region back up towards and within Hobart.
Prior to my last house sitting assignment, which was fantastic, I was staying and helping look after someone in Allen's Rivulet (south of Hobart) and prior to that, I lived in Sandy Bay for 6 months in a share house.
My last house sitting assignment was an exceptional experience, since I offered to contribute to not only help maintain, care for her pets and the home,I offered to run her home business whilst the house sitter took a long deserved holiday in Europe. It was a bonus that I had been already working in the industry.

I have a wide variety of skills, and find house sitting ideal for me as well as finding the rewards of making sure I look after other peoples homes to a high standard fulfilling.

Just a few notes, in case they might be of interest. I have been a dog breeder for several years on at a high level and so have a very sound knowledge of care; in addition to cats and farm animals (since I spent the first 18 years of my life helping dad on a farm in the northern end of the state run stock etc.) In fact, one of the biggest draws to housesitting is the pet care, since I miss this aspect in life. However, my studies in Architecture, people, nature, tourism and culture has led me to find living in different regions and experiencing different scenarios, particularly as a writer, an inspiration in all areas.

I also, when living in the northern part of the state, a very active gardener and landscaper (having worked in landscape architecture for a time) and so any gardening if required is not an issue at all.
I started housesitting professionally three months ago and it is in my interest to build up a great portfolio of references that might lead me to housesitting in different parts of the world when I fully focus on writing.
I consider myself a nurturing individual and have been inclined to a more introverted lifestyle, merged in my hobbies, which is balanced as a breakfast host in a couple of heritage houses in Hobart. I was raised in a very good family environment and do not smoke or drink.

If you would like to find out anything more, please don't hesitate to ask.

I have several references on request, a current police check and my own drivers license; anything else required I would be more than happy to provide.
I am looking for any short term house sit in the southern region of Tasmania up until the end of February and would be much appreciated, whether for a short term or long term assignment.
I am flexible and friendly, and if you would like to catch up over a coffee or whatever is easier or just over the phone, get in touch and look forward look forward to hearing from you.
