More information about this house sitter

Hello! I’m Jess

I’m a meteorologist from Canberra who has recently started a new job that will have me spending an extended period of time in Sydney. I’m looking for some lovely pets to keep me company while I’m there — and to give their owners peace of mind while they’re away!

I’m an active, outdoorsy person and a big animal lover. I have a 3-year-old Kelpie of my own (who will be staying in Canberra while I'm in Sydney) so I’m very used to the companionship, routine and responsibility that comes with having a pet. Outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, horse riding and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

I grew up in a small town in Western Australia, on a small farm where we bred and raised cattle and Australian Stock Horses. We have also farmed sheep, and I’ve always had a house full of animals — including goats, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, dogs and cats!

Growing up on a farm taught me to be calm, practical and attentive around animals of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I’ve also had plenty of experience house and farm sitting for family and friends over the years. I have lots of expereince pet sitting for pets with behavioural issues or requiring medication and am very patient and calm with all animals.

I'm happy to send as many pet updates as you want whilst you are away as I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone else!

I have more references over on my profile on TrustedHousesitters and can send you the link if you would like! Read more...
