Hi,
We’re Rowena (‘Weng’) and Jason and we’d like to tell you why you might consider us for your house or farm sitting assignment.

We’re both very fit and healthy . We are NON smokers, don’t do drugs and occasionally have a glass of wine with dinner (any more gives us headaches anyway).

Weng is an Oz permanent resident & four year degreed accountant with three years of law and Jason is Oz-born, a behavioral research psychologist, mostly retired but still working on enough projects to keep his mind from getting flabby.

We’ve had extensive experience looking after both houses and some very large and remote farms, and in both cases owners entrusted us to manage their assets unsupervised for long periods. Simply, we value our reputation, we hold firmly to our commitments, we are fundamentally honest and we’ve always completed our past assignments successfully.

We love animals – we’ve taken care of cats, dogs, ducks, chickens, birds, fish, lamas, alpacas, sheep, horses and cows. We have no issues with special domestic pet needs as well, such as pills or shots and Jason has pretty good petcare skills as well as being a trained EMT.

Weng is a gifted gardener (while Jason is afflicted with a severe case of ‘brown thumb’). We are conservative when it comes to power and water and living alone on remote farms has certainly skilled us up. While neither of us are what you’d describe as goto handypersons, we can certainly take care of any immediate crisis.

We can supply references plus we would be fine with a police check if required.

Our pledge is simple enough: We’ll treat your house as our (temporary) home, we’ll value your investment and possessions (just like we do our own), we’ll keep it tidy, we won’t annoy your neighbors, and we’ll certainly keep you informed of any issues that might arise.

Location is not a big consideration but we do need modest access to broadband. Read more...
