Hello,

My name is Jaclyn. I am an experienced house & pet sitter that originally comes from Melbourne but lived in Sydney for 3 years before going on a European Adventure. I recently returned to Sydney (Nov 2016) after living in Europe for 16 months where I was teaching English in Spain, Germany and Poland (very rewarding and humbling experience)!

Being a home owner (I have owned an apartment in Melbourne since 2010 which I rent out), I pride myself on being very clean & tidy, respectful, honest and reliable. I am a non-smoker female that loves practicing yoga as often as I can (Yin and Hatha are my favourite styles), eating healthy whole foods, listening to nice music, reading interesting books (autobiographies are my favourite) and going to the occasional salsa dancing class (I did Latin dancing for 12 years of my life so like to keep my toes in it)!

I have always lived with animals and growing up I had a couple of cats (Sandy and Sooky) and two different puppies (a Jack Russell named Max and a Maltese Pekingese named Barney who lived until he was 19 human years old)! I adore animals and giving them plenty of TLC and attention so I can assure you, I would look after your pets as if they were my own :-)

I like the experience of house sitting because it gives me the opportunity to explore different areas to live in and the opportunity to take care of pets given I don't currently have one of my own. I had my first taste of house sitting in Spain and have now done seven house sits to date - I have noted these below for your information:

1) July 2016 - MADRID, Spain - 2 weeks (reference available)*
2) August 2016 - ALICANTE, Spain - 2 weeks
3) October 2016 - BRIGHTON, Melbourne - 3 weeks (reference available)*
4) December 2016 - PADDINGTON, Sydney - 2 weeks (reference available)*
5) Dec 16-Jan 17, SURRY HILLS, Sydney - 2.5 weeks (reference available)*
6) January 2017, PADDINGTON, Sydney - 1 week
7) February 2017, SURRY HILLS , Sydney - 2 weeks (currently in progress)

*Please note, I have been using a different website for my house sits up until now called "Happy House sitters" so all my references are on there which I can provide you with a link to otherwise happy to give contact numbers for the owners.
