Hello, my name is Sarah.

-I've pet-sit in Melbourne and even in Los Angeles recently and have always had 5 star feedback (I am registered on Trusted House Sitters and usually just find fits via that site - I am excited to extend to sits on Minda).

I am a responsible home owner (and a former landlord in Melbourne).

Where am I from?

-I’ve lived for a long time in Elwood/St Kilda - I have been living in Abbotsford for the past couple of years in a beautiful place overlooking the Yarra River.
I have been a passionate pet lover my whole life. I have been privileged to be a dog-mom, cat-mom, bird-mom!

Why I pet-sit:

-When I was a child I had a neighbour who had limited access (knee replacement issues) and could only walk short distances with an aid. I was about 10 at the time and volunteered to walk her dog daily. This was almost 30 years ago and my love/care for pets has only increased.

This helped my neighbour and from a young age taught me the benefits of helping others and caring for animals!

Pet Owner:

-I am lucky enough to have my own little puggy son who is my absolute little baby boy.
He stays with my parents while I travel/pet sit.

I understand the importance of respecting homes, property and the risk people take when they invite guests/tenants to care take their asset and their fur-children and i take the responsibility seriously and with much respect for routine, property.

About me:

-I am a community development, public policy professional with qualifications in Community Development and Post Graduate Law.
I am active, organised, extremely neat. I WFH, or hybrid attend the office. I usually do contract work as I appreciate the flexibility it offers.

I am a home (apartment) owner in inner-Melbourne and sometimes operate my place as an Airbnb when I travel.

This gives me much appreciation and understanding in situations where people open their home to others which makes me a great and appreciative house-sitter.

Self-described as a bit of a (proud) loner ??, I am a divorced mother to one lovely teen daughter. She splits her time between living with me and living with her dad in South Yarra.

I spend my time walking my dog, at the gym, reading, traveling or volunteering at a community legal center.

I have much experience caring for dogs and cats - ensuring their home routines and care stay as similar as possible while their families are away from home.
