Hi! I'm Sacha, I'm a sweet and caring lady from England
with plenty of house sitting and housekeeping and animal-caring experience.

I've been travelling for 2.5 years around India and South East Asia where I was seeking and learning wisdom from Buddhism and Hinduism since I am an avid philosopher.
The way I was able to stretch my trip over so many years was volunteering for accommodation throughout my travels. This included house sitting, housekeeping, volunteering with animals and managing hotels. So I have plenty of experience being responsible for homes, keeping a place tidy and clean, (to a thorough standard) and taking responsibility for many animals.

My main passion is photography and I'm looking to set up my website whilst I'm here, so I'm looking at spending some quiet time in a home for a while. As I've been living out of a backpack for so long, I'm looking for the perfect home to settle in for a few weeks, and as a cat-lover I'd love the opportunity to have some furry friends to cuddle at night too! My love for knowledge and cats came together when I recently studied a course in Feline Behaviour and Psychology.

Since as young as I can remember, I've always had cats at home. From my first crazy and courageous cat Simba, to the rather timid (and slightly paranoid) Ebony to the adventurous explorer Nala (who was renamed 'Dora', after the famous explorer.. :D ). Since it was always my influence to adopt a cat, it has been my responsibility to feed and water them, empty litter trays and take them to the vet when needed, so I am not shy to do or unaware of the true responsibilities of looking after cats. And of course, my favourite part of being a cat owner is creating a bond with them so they trust you enough for little cat cuddles.

When I was living in England, I would also volunteer with the RSPCA, a registered charity that looks after abandonned animals and finds them new homes. I loved my experience there and my favourite part was seeing the transformation of animals that had been through traumatising experiences come out of their shell and find their way back to happiness and trust again.

I have previous experience both in volunteer positions and paid as a housekeeper so I am nice and tidy and ideally I'm looking for somewhere that has space for me to practice my daily yoga and meditation.
