Family carer for your animals

We are a blended family of two professionals with two kids (6 and 2.5) and would love to explore different parts of Victoria and Australia by housesitting and taking care of animals. We live in Melbourne and Vicky works part time for the State Government as a Senior Policy Officer whilst Chris works as an Engineer. We would endeavour to look after your home and your precious animals as if they were our own and regularly provide you with updates and photos of them. We understand what a big thing it is to leave your beloved fur babies and animals with others, as well as allowing others into your home. We'd be happy to have a chat over the phone or meet in person beforehand if feasible to see if we are the right fit for you.

We are all big animal lovers and have our own Belgian Griffon Terrier dog called Indi. We've taught my kids to be respectful of animals and to treat them kindly. Our dog Indi would be having a holiday at Vicky's mum's house while we were housesitting. We both grew up with dogs, cats, birds and fish but happy to look after other animals too as long as the animals are good with children. Chris grew up on farms in country NSW. We have successfully completed approximately 5 house sits in 2023 and 2024 through this website and the aussiehousesitters website and absolutely fell in love with the animals we cared for.
