My husband and I are returning to Australia from Canada after 5.5 years abroad. We bring with us our two Canadian daughters and excitement to show them the Queensland we love.

We are importing all of our belongings and our two beloved pets into Australia which is going to take 6+ months - time we would love to fill with housesitting.

I (Madison) run my own online business part-time and my husband (Rory) works for a Canadian-based tech company, also online. We are quiet and tidy homebodies who love to spend our down time playing in the yard with our kiddos, watching movies and going for the occasional bush walk or swim at the beach.

We have travelled rather extensive domestically and abroad with our two daughters who adapt quickly to new surroundings. We have a strong focus on boundaries as part of our parenting and ensure that they respect other people’s property. We are also expert babyproofers and will be sure to make any temporary adjustments necessary to your belongings to ensure both they and our girls are protected.

We’ve both grown up with animals all our lives. We currently have a standard Poodle and a tabby cat that will join us in Australia in the second half of 2022. We have owned animals with special needs in the past and can accommodate anything your beloved pet may need. Our girls have also both grown up with animals and are very comfortable and respectful of them.
