Why do we want to house sit?
We are Australian citizens and we want to relocate our young family to country Victoria. House sitting will give us an opportunity to explore new areas. We are currently staying with family in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, but we normally live in a 2.5 bedroom house on a 1.5 acre hobby farm in Westwold, British Columbia, Canada.

When are we available to house sit?
December 27, 2023 to February 18, 2024.

Are we happy to house and pet sit?
Yes! At home on our hobby farm we have had lamb, chickens, and a cat. Our kids love animals, farm life and the chores that go along with that. Our kids and your dogs should meet though to make sure everyone gets along.

What are our skills, experience, and hobbies?
Our relevant experience is owning a hobby farm ourselves, with a vegetable garden and animals. Our hobby farm is on a septic system and well/bore water. We have home maintenance skills, having owned, and operated our own construction company and currently own/run a scaffold company in Canada.
Andrew is an amateur artist, enjoying painting. Our family loves travelling and 4-wheel driving. Andrew has taken a course on agriculture and has some farm animal experience before we bought our own property.
We have both taken Natural Horsemanship classes.

What is our current employment?
We own and operate Kamloops Scaffold.

Do we own?
Yes, we bought our first property in our early twenties in West Footscray. We currently own a small hobby farm in Canada.

Are we single, a couple or a family and do you come with pets?
We are a family of 2 adults, a family friend aged 20 and 4 children. Our children are aged 5 years, 3 years and 6 month old twins. Don’t worry, we don’t need a big house. We currently live in a 2.5 bedroom farm house. 3 bedrooms are more comfortable for us, but we can make 2 bedrooms work.
