Hullo there, I am 70 years old and only just recently retired. I was a Registered Nurse for 45 years and have worked in all types of heath settings, from Major city Hospitals, to very remote Aboriginal Communities.
I am a homeowner in Adelaide and my wife is busy writing a PhD.; she is doing that from home. She would appreciate my absence for periods of up to two months, maybe more over the next 2 years, as her project is very intense, and I can be a distracting influence.
I am busy teaching myself acoustic guitar and writing songs, so solitude is good for me as well.
We have become solitary in our pursuits after a life together of growing up our own kids and some grandchildren. We have done enough travelling in our time, so that is not a burning desire for us both.
We would welcome some space fulfill our own individual goals, so house-sitting for me is a good opportunity to allow this to happen.
I am a nonsmoker. Throughout my career as a nurse, I have had to produce current police clearances for continuing annual renewal of registration.
I recently had to put my own dog down after looking after her for 15 years. I've kept fish and birds and lizards as well so am very capable at pet minding.
I am reliable and trustworthy and house proud.
Your home, and/or pets would be safe with me.
