I am based in Sydney, retired independent and capable and have just returned from house-sitting cats, dogs, fish and birds over several months in the UK and loved it.
After finishing some casual work at a University late November, I am looking for house-sits and discover magic corners of the country. As a homeowner with large garden and pool, and former pet owner,I have a good idea as to what is needed to keep house and garden well maintained. Had dogs all my life and lost my last pooch three years ago so love having the opportunity to look after pets. As I am no longer working full-time I now have time to travel. House-sitting seems to be an ideal way of combining my love for animals and for travel. I am flexible on dates but would love to hear from home/pet owners who are needing someone from January through to April (Adelaide 1-20 March for the Festival would be great). It would be lovely to hear from you if you think I would be suitable. I do not smoke! References on request.
