Hello, I'm Jo, a Cairns semi-local, returning to FNQ permanently for work. I'm looking for medium-term housesits in the northern suburbs, all the way up to the beaches.

I'm reasonably handy, a competent gardner, and am conscientious about the way I live. I'm also a homeowner, and in the past I've been a landlord, tenant and housesitter ... I understand what it feels like to invite someone into your space, and depend on them to care for your home, garden and pets. I can do that for you.

I have an 11 year old desexed mostly-golden-retriever dog who comes with me. I understand this isn't desirable for many pet/home owners, however, he's extremely well-mannered, and understands that cats, birds, fish and things which go "squeak" are to be respected and left alone. I also walk him every day, and expect to do the same for your dog/s too.

I can supply local references - chances are, we'd know some of the same people anyway. Happy to chat and see if we can help each other.
