We're Jen & Ted, a friendly Canadian couple in our late-20's. We've been married for 5 years and have spent the last 2.5 years have been travelling and living abroad. We're responsible, easy going people, just aiming to live life to the fullest. You only live once, after all :)

Jen is a pediatric nurse, writer, and founder of our travel blog, Thrifty Nomads. Ted is a web developer who works for a Canadian company back home. We freelance to fund our long-term travels, which for most of 2016 will be throughout Australia. That means that while we do travel and explore our new surroundings, we also work from home meaning your pets WILL have company and your home will be VERY well cared for!

We've used AirBNB for years now as hosts & guests but are looking to expand to house sitting to continue this lifestyle we so love, while making furry friends along the way. We want to put you at peace of mind while you enjoy some well deserved time away from your home, and offer an alternative to paid sitting or kennels. A win-win for all people and animals involved! :)
