Hello, My name is Debbie. I am in my mid 50's and am an experienced house and pet sitter with excellent references from everyone that I have done house and pet sits for so far.

I am fortunate enough to work from home, with my own small business (teaching Patchwork, Embroidery & Quilting), which allows me to take SHORT BREAKS AWAY to explore more of our beautiful country... and meet more lovely pet owners and their furry friends at the same time.

I am available to help you towards a stress-free holiday or business trip; with peace of mind, that your home & pets are being well cared for whilst you are away.

I am a non- smoker, non-party-er and only occasional light drinker who enjoys spending time with your pets in your home... whilst enjoying my hand stitching crafts. I'm happy to follow your instructions, and your pets routines to ensure a lovely positive experience for all concerned. I love to give lots of attention and affection to ensure your pets and property are well-cared for, leaving your pets feeling happy & relaxed upon your return.
I'm also happy to update you with photos of your pets whilst you are away... if that is what you'd like too.

As a small business owner, I like to take SHORT BREAKS AWAY, and experience house and pet sitting in other parts of our beautiful country (particularly in lovely areas with relaxing parks, and beautiful water & coastal views being highly sought after).
I'm often drawn to the calming effects of the water, in whatever form it might be.

I am extremely HOUSE PROUD, NEAT & TIDY and would like for you to ENJOY YOUR TIME AWAY, knowing that you have peace of mind that your home, your privacy and your personal belongings will be respected and looked after as if you were there.

As a proud home-owner myself, I know it's a big thing to leave all of your personal belongings in someone else's care. Rest assured I will respect your privacy (with no looking into things that do not concern me)... and I will take the utmost care of everything I have been entrusted to look after, including your home, pets, plants, car etc.
In return I ask for a lovely CLEAN, comfortable and warm, SMOKE-FREE HOME in a secure location - with a space for me to park my car.

I am very much aware that my main priority is to look after your pets and home care, whilst enjoying time visiting your local area.

I've owned and looked after Dogs, Cats, Fish, Birds, Chooks (Guinea Pigs and Rabbits as a child) and even Pet Cows on our property. I particularly LOVE friendly small to medium dogs -
(.. a photo of our beautiful elderly dog "Poppy" is attached above. (She's getting quite old now & stays home with family when I go away house-sitting). I have experience with both cats and dogs...🐶🐕😽😻 (no rats or snakes please).

Living on a country property, I'm very conscious of NOT wasting power, water etc and attending to your security needs.

I am happy to water the plants, collect the mail and send through updates (if you'd like) of your pets whilst you're away.
I'm wanting to give you peace of mind that your pets and home will be looked after so that you can have a feel-good, relaxing time away.

I'VE PREVIOUSLY HAD A NATIONAL POLICE SECURITY CHECK CLEARANCE DONE - ALL CLEAR,
And I pride myself that every one of my REVIEWS LEFT ARE ALL 5 STAR.

I have 6 years of great reviews from doing numerous house & pet sits on this site, covering beautiful pets & homes in Queensland, New South Wales & even 1 in Western Australia too. (I've previously lived in Victoria and looked after and owned pets there). Now living on a beautiful property on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales... just outside of beautiful Port Macquarie NSW.

All my references and previous experiences on here have been a pleasure to deal with. Each of the owners have been very kind, with beautiful pets & lovely homes to mind.

On most occasions, I am looking to do the lovely sits on my own ... however, on the odd occasion (generally once a year), I like to do a 'get- together' sit with my Mum aged in her 70's. (we live in different states, so we sometimes look to do sits together over the Christmas holiday period etc. She too is a non- smoker and very considerate of other people's pets & homes that we are looking after). *(This is only occasional, and IF I was looking to do a particular sit with my mother, I would always ask permission first).

*Also, as someone who really loves to do embroidery & patchwork, ... sometimes, again- very occasionally (usually over shorter long-weekend periods) I like to go away and do a house sit with myself and 2 friends who love to sew together. We enjoy looking after your lovely pet & home, whilst enjoying Stitching together over the long weekends. Again, the 'girls Stitching weekend' only happens very occasionally... and I would ALWAYS gain permission for our 3 ladies first. (All 55+ with no partying involved).

MOST OF THE HOUSE-SITS ARE DONE BY MYSELF, enjoying the company of your friendly pets whilst looking after your home.
