Hi Everyone!

I'm a single, mature friendly lady who has owned and managed retail businesses and worked in many different industries (gold mining and security), as well as caretaking large homes on acreages (SA & Qld), small and large hobby farms (SA & Leichhardt Vic). This hobby farm was a paid position.
I managed a remote historic homestead with sheep and cattle with my ex-partner at Moonaree Stn in SA. This was a paid position.

I cared for a very large rural home on acreages in Nth Qld two years ago, with gardens and ride on mowing a full-on job.
I have an excellent reference from the owner.

I first lived on a rural outback sheep station in SA when I was married.
Then later I was on the move working at different rural jobs, loving my time out in open spaces.

I am experienced with caring for sheep, cows, horses, goats and had different working dogs myself as well and cared for many owner's dogs. I have also looked after cats, chooks, birds and other pets.

While working and living away in different areas I was happy to house-sit or farmsit.
I am capable of caring for a farm property by myself as I did when I was first single. I have been on my own now for 8 years.

I lived on the Gold Coast for over 25 years, with many trips to SA to care for my parents and see family. I then moved to the Sunshine Coast to live. I've lived in different locations, then Gympie for a couple years, I then moved to the coast for a new job.

I am now fully retired and rent at Marcus Beach. As my lease ends here on July 4th this year, I would much prefer to look at other options outside of renting here,
preferably to look at caretaking properties or long-term housesits out in rural areas.

I take housesits or caretaking roles that require work loads that I know I can perform by myself, with homes, gardens and lawn areas to take care of by myself.
I am very capable of using a push mower or a ride on mower where needed, feed cattle or sheep, check water tanks and dams. Tend to any maintenance if needed.

I enjoy the company of all dogs, having cared for many different breeds.
I love being with Kelpies and Border Collies especially. They are very clever dogs. I'm experienced with farm animals.

I have stayed active with daily walks, swimming and dance exercise classes.

I'm a non smoker, social drinker and love nothing better than to chill out by the water or in gardens with the dogs and any local neighbours.

I'm currently looking for a permanent secure long-term housesitting job or caretaking job position to commence in early July this year if available.

I enjoy movies, reading, writing, sewing, art, design, boating, motorbikes, swimming, snorkeling and out walking.

I'm an active Pensioner so able to move around freely where I can, but after enjoy casually work in different jobs like retail and teaching children and adults to swim, I am now happily retired.

I am reliable, honest & trustworthy, with a security background.

I have excellent rental history and references from my previous agents and landlords, past housesit and property owners with many personal contacts.

I like to keep homes clean, tidy and organised. I'll care for your pet's diets, administer medications if required.
I am a member on Mad Paws, a pet sitting site, and housesit sites with excellent references.
