More information about this house sitter

Hi - we are a friendly, conscientious, honest, reliable and active retired couple who have lived in Switzerland and New Zealand before recently returning to Australia. Sandra is a 57 year old Kiwi/Australian and Rolf (58) is Swiss/Australian. We love meeting new people and are currently enjoying travelling Australia between housesits.

While living in Switzerland for over two years we ran an Airbnb which attained and kept Superhost status and had an excellent 4.93/5 for Overall Quality (includes accuracy, check in, cleanliness, communication, location and value). As we have only just started online housesitting in Australia, we have not many reviews but we can provide excellent references from our Airbnb site as well as from the private housesitting we have conducted in NZ between December 2020 and June 2021.

Like many sitters on this site we love animals. Sandra was brought up with household and farm animals and we were active volunteer wildlife carers in NSW for 10 years, specialising in reptiles. Together we have experience caring for cats, dogs, chooks, snakes, lizards, birds, sheep, cattle and horses. This includes extensive experience in caring for injured and ill native animals and birds, liaising with vets, providing medication and injections and changing dressings.

We own a 3/4-acre property in Australia with extensive gardens, vegetable beds, herbs and fruit trees which we looked after for 5 years. We will happily look after your house, your pets, your lawn (zero-turn Ride-on experienced) and your garden as if they were our own and look forward to discussing your requirements and needs.
