Welcome folks,

My name is Hasanah, in my mid-30's, and I currently work remotely, doing social media/website/graphic design.

I have house and pet-sat on and off for both friends and strangers, either through this website, Facebook or word of mouth. I have regularly dog-sat for my landlady in Apollo Bay (she's a grey nomad!), the longest being 3 months while she went away on a road trip around Australia.

Currently (9/6/25), I am housesitting for two dogs in Crabbes Creek. Right before this, I had a housesit with a dog and two cats (check my review), and before that, I had a housesit with two cats in Brisbane for 3 weeks.

I have house/pet-sat for 3-4 years. I have cared for dogs, cats, chooks, ducks and fishes. I grew up with cats, and am very much a cat person, but I have also fallen in love with dogs (how can you not?!). I sincerely love all animals and had aspirations to be a vet until the VCE Biology exam bored me to tears.

I am very interested and open to doing farm sits, and would be open to coming in earlier to be shown the ropes. I have helped my friends herd their sheep to different paddocks and sheared one of their sheep!

Prior to this line of work, I used to work as a qualified chef for a very long while, and then I worked in mental health, and I was/am a librarian (still part of the casual pool in Geelong).

I'm quiet, neat and respectful. I'm generally quick to communicate (and reply to messages!), and I'm more than happy to send daily or weekly updates, if you let me know your preference.

I have a valid WWCC (requirement of being in mental health + librarian) and am more than happy to give you references from my previous house/pet-sits.
