More information about this house sitter

As mature-age house sitters, we understand how important it is for you to know your home and pets, and are safe at all times while you enjoy your time away.

We will commit to the protection of your sanctuary and do our best to earn your pet's love and respect. We are also open to becoming repeat, longer-term, house sitters in the future as we are traveling for the long haul.

My partner Helene is a dedicated amateur photographer, as I am a passionate animal lover. Between us, we will take volumes of high-quality digital photos of your loved ones to share with you as regular updates if required.

As a “house-trained”, capable, reliable, fit, healthy, fully vaccinated, easy-going couple with lively sense of humor; we don’t drink, smoke, or party (though we do love rock and roll dancing). We are very much at peace with our own company.

Having owned dogs and cats (of whom we dearly miss), it would be our pleasure to adopt your pets as our own family, adding to our collection of beloved memories.

Past house sitting has led to meeting many heartwarming pets including dogs, cats, birds, and chooks (plus of course, their owners), staying in some beautiful locations and prestigious homes.

As a retired multi-skilled fitter, I enjoy a bit of handyman/gardening (to maintain health and fitness). Though we do find interacting with pets can be a much more therapeutic and enjoyable path to well-being and happiness.

I will enjoy completing extra little chores that I know will add to the pleasure of returning to a problem-free home.
