I had cats and dogs as a child and again for the past thirty-two years. I shared two Maine Coon cats for eighteen years and then later three more fabulous felines with my mother until she passed away. My last kitty was in kidney failure for three and a half years, requiring fluids every other day, but finally ran out of steam recently after 14 years. My last dog was a Border Collie on a farm in NSW who taught me how to herd sheep. I spent a lot of time during the past four years on a ranch looking after a dozen gorgeous horses and a Red Healer puppy. Previously I did a fair amount of pet sitting for other people from 2015 to 2020 on other services. My circumstances have changed in the past few months now that my last kitty has passed . I am hoping to find other cats and dogs to stay with before I think about getting my own animals again. I am self-employed in cybersecurity so I can work from wherever I am staying. I am happiest when I am looking after cats, dogs, and/or horses.
