Hi there! My name is Gemma, 33, an Artist specialising in linocut printmaking (if you'd like to check out my work and some extra pics of where I usually live i can direct you to my socials). I live in a little 150 year old (semi converted) shearers quarters with my partner and our 3 dogs, with my parents up the hill we manage our large flock of merinos and small herd of cows. I keep a tidy home, and love to garden and get a lot of joy from tending to all living things. I am a huge dog lover (and of course I love cats too!) I have my little Frank who is 12 and fighting fit and adorable, a silky-huahua. My sheep dog Kenny, a Collie, 6, beautiful and smart. And our puppy, Atlas who is nearly 1, a kelpie, very silly but very sweet. I work from home in my converted seed storage shed where I make my prints, and work 2-3 days caring for the sheep and cattle and general mainentance on the farm alongside my mum and Dad and partner.
I enjoy the peace and quiet, I love walking my dogs and being in the sunshine. Im very isolated where I live in Walcha, and am joining mindahome to have a break from the cold and routine to help my art and mind for short periods of time. I don't smoke, I only enjoy an occasional glass of wine. I will be entirely respectful of your home, your pets and how you wish everything to be cared for. I will bring my own linens, utensils etc, anything that I could accidentally be damaged over long stays. I will definitely employ a professional cleaner upon departure to make sure when you walk home its absolutely perfect, your dog/cat/plants are happy and you can settle back in as if you never left! This situation works well for me as I have my art business running online and via my galleries, to be able to stay in a city I love is very inspiring and to be able to stay somewhere comfortable and almost free is a blessing for me. Im new here so if there's anything you would like to know, ill get back to you super quick!
